Proof of concept for the digitalized certification of measurement data: An example of vernier-caliper calibration

Abstract:
We have developed a system in which numerical values can be verified to assure the management and measurement processes in calibrations and testings. The system was developed in accordance with standard operation procedure, and it works with an online application run by a third-party organization to examine data consistency, thus certifying calibration data. An example of the calibration of a vernier caliper is presented.
