Conceptual model for measurement service provision in support of a digital quality management system
Measurement service provision is an established process of measurement quality management systems, which includes the exchange of information between service providers and consumers. It is an informative use case for modeling digital systems for quality management. This paper describes a conceptual model of quality system processes that govern traceable measurement services. The model identifies metrology concepts, measurement processes, and their relationship with measurement data. The model demonstrates applicability for machine-interpretable digital calibration certificates.
