AN INCLUSION MEASURE FOR ROUGH SETS

    Abstract:

Inclusion is a quasi-order relation that plays an important role in rough set theory. We present a formula to compute the inclusion degree of two rough sets in an approximation space, and we study its properties. Relationships between this inclusion measure for rough sets and a refinement order relation are discussed.
